HAS ANYBODY HAD AN OVARIAN CYST REMOVED?

Not too long ago, i had to get a benign ovarian cyst removed. They informed me (before surgery), that i had to remove my underpants, but that i could keep my bra on. But when i woke up after the operation, i noticed my bra was at the end of my hospital bed. Somehow they had removed it while i was gassed/under. I'm scared in a way, and probably a tad bit paranoid, but do you think there is a chance the MALE surgeon & MALE nurses did this for their own, personal amusement? I don't know why, but ever since i saw my bra, i've felt so violated & full of low self esteem. I've been covering my body since. I'm just wondering if any of you women have had an ovarian cyst removed, did they remove both your underpants & bra? It just seems strange. If they were going to take the bra off me, then why did they say i could wear it? It's not like the bra can get in the way of the operation, as the key cuts were down below.
