Does Cabo San Lucas, mexico have good snorkeling spots?

Hey there! I was looking online today just for fun at some cruises down to Mexico. I looked at cabo, and saw it's really inexpensive! Now that I'm actually thinking about booking it, I wanted to know some things about cabo. If I do the cruise, I'll have 2 full days to spend in cabo San Lucas off of the ship. So one of my favorite things to do in the tropics is snorkel! So I was wondering if cabo San Lucas had good snorkeling spots, and where I could find them! Thanks! :) p.s. The cruise is set to be in October, is that an okay time to go? Thanks!
