Why have girls taken an interest in me now?

Well I started college about two weeks ago and so far 2 girls in my class like me. They have not said that they like me or anything but I can definitely tell. This never happened to me in middle school or high school. I use to wear big glasses but got lasik surgery and I had mild acne but it cleared up. Do you think those were the reasons? I don't hate the new attention that I'm getting lol i'm just curious.
